I'm at Delilah Devlin's blog today!!!!

So Delilah Devlin asked if I would interested in writing a blog for her. I, of course, jumped on the chance. I opened up a Word doc and went to work on it. Needless to say I think I ended up with 3 or 4 different documents because my brain just kept jumping around.

What would I write about? I'm a reader who sometimes thinks about writing. My options were pretty open.

Me, my life, what I like to read, how has reading changed my life

Just so many things crossed my mind and one idea ran right into another.

I did finally narrow down my focus and pick one idea.

If you noticed I've read to fairly major books recently. Well I find them major.

Heat Wave by Richard Castle

Twilight by Stephanie Meyer

I will admit to enjoying both books. It was nice to have a departure from romance while reading HEAT WAVE. If you don't know the TV show Castle is about a writer that is doing ride-alongs with the police. I love the show. So in the show Richard Castle writes about. hence HEAT WAVE.

The other book is TWILIGHT. Yes you read that correctly. I caved and read TWILIGHT. I'm not hopping on the Twilight Saga bandwagon but I did enjoy it for what it is. At this point you might also want to know that I have watched the movie and that I did pick up NEW MOON today while at Wal-mart.

For this month I'm going to have two separate lists. I have been reading an anthology and decided to list those on their own. Really I deserve credit for reading every short story in there. Some of them were good, odd and so-never-should-have-read-it.

I have 9 more short stories to read in it before I'm done. Not too sure when I'll get back to it but I will. I did read out of order but only by one. the reason I bought this book was for Delilah Devlin's story. I loved her and dying to read it. Since I do follow along with her blog and books I had an idea of what her's was like and just could wait to read it. I wasn't disappointed in the least.

Its November!!!

Oh happy days the year is almost over. For me this is a good thing. I have company pretty much this entire month which will keep me nice and busy. Then in December the Hubster comes home for about 2 weeks. Loving called his mid-tour break even though it is well past the middle of his tour. No big deal though. He'll be here for Christmas and GirlBaby's birthday. All good in my book.

Then he's back off for a few more months and more chaos will ensue with moving and all that entails.

So of course since it is November 1st that mean yesterday was Halloween. So for your viewing pleasure my children dressed up.

I'll be back later to give my reads for October and anything else I can think of.
