Can't decide

Go figure.

So I'm working on a project for me and I need help with a club name. In my mind it is an all inclusive BDSM club run by 2 men. They are business partners and friends. That's all. Or all that I know at the moment.

I need a name for the club. My friend LKAP and I have come up with a few choices. Now I just need to decide which I just can't yet.

I thought I'd throw it out there and see what y'all think.

There's a poll on the sidebar over there. It lasts a few days and is the first poll I've ever done.

Its snow.... a ton of snow

I live in Virginia. The place that has recently gotten a butt-load of snow. Not a little bit of snow. A freaking TON of snow.

Here let me show you....

We were out of power for 5 hours  Friday from 10 pm - 3 am. Then the power went out again Saturday morning at 9:30 am and was told it came back on at 8:30 pm. We left the house at 4 in the afternoon for my daughter's friend's house. They were generous enough to let us stay over and feed us.

We came back this morning around 9:30 am to a house with half the lights on, 1 TV one and the heater going.

More snow/rain is expected Tuesday and school has already been cancelled for Monday.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

to the hubby and me.

We've been married for 15 years and its hard to  believe its been that long. There are times when it feels like we just got married.

T and I met while we were both in the Army (he's still in, I got out after 4 1/2 years and a month before our daughter was born). We were at AIT in Fort Huachuca, Arizona in the same training class.

I knew he was the one for me but didn't admit my feelings. We were pretty young at the time. Him being 2 years younger than me and the ripe old age of 19.

We used to go on walks after class and talk and spend our weekends together in town when we could. It was a fun and exciting time. New love and all that.

I have to admit that he said I love you first. He was drunk so I tell him it doesn't count but he still pulls the I said it first card - a lot.

We won't be together this anniversary due to his being deployed in another country and all, but we do have plans in place to have an adults only weekend at a spa in Leavenworth, WA to make up for it. His parents are going to watch the kids and we get to have an anniversary/honeymoon celebration. I think we deserve it for sure.

So Happy Anniversary T. I love you and miss you.

Amazon delivery

Today (2-2-10) was an Amazon delivery day. Even though there is that ebook price war going on with Macmillan and Amazon I was still able to get one of my books. I pre-ordered it so I'm sure that has something to do with it.

The Romance Studio

This should have gone up yesterday but a cleaning bug got hold of me and the house was screaming for attention.

The Romance Studio did an interview with Shayla Kersten about her new book ANGEL MOON.

I was mentioned as the source of the idea and this morning I finally put a name to it: Character Creation

Shayla is the one behind the whole book. I just gave her an idea for a character or two or three that I wanted to see. You have the basic 2 characters and the super secret-you-have-to-read-it-to-find-out character.

Shayla also mentions in her interview that my idea sparked a story and that it is completely different from what I expected and you know what.... I think that's fabulous. She took something that I had an idea about and made it into something I never would have thought of. That is the beauty of writing and imaginations. You can give 2 people one idea and they will make it their own.
